My home town has deep medieval roots. I grew up near convents, castles and ruins filled with legends about Templars, Popes that wanted to separate from Rome’s Church, Churches built to protect the Arch of the Covenants… and I often dreamt of being a monk. So I decided to illustrate my life stories as if I were one of the amanuensis….
