Verizon Up commissioned us to create an experience that would reward its members and all the Shawn Mendes Fans giving them a sneakpeak of what is is to be him. So we immersed them in the moments of inspiration that he finds in his Malibu studio, to the moments of creation when he starts recording, to the strong emotions of connection and enthusiasm he feels when walking and performing on stage. With Shawn’s sending them FaceTime videos to guide them through the tour, they were able to experience what he experiences, sing their own songs and walk on a stage where they found Shawn himself!

Fans stared off by walking through the beaches of Malibu while watching lyrics appear on screen, representing where Shawn finds inspiration and how he forms his songs.

Then, they were able to step into a booth to record their own rendition of one of Shawn’s songs to experience how he creates the music they adore.

Finally, fans entered an area projecting a 360 view of what Shawn sees on stage, letting everyone feel what it’s like for their favorite artist to perform.
